Writing over a million words for the first time was truly nothing like I had imagined. The outline I set at the beginning kept getting revised, and by the end, I realized it was completely different from what I had originally envisioned.
Still, this time gave me some valuable experience. When I had only written one or two hundred thousand words, I genuinely felt that it didn't matter. Later, though, I realized the entire book had begun drifting away from my initial ideas. The plot was completely beyond my control; the more I wrote, the farther it strayed. All I could do was revise things as I went.
The ending of this book was actually quite rushed. I had originally imagined it being much longer, but I truly couldn't keep writing. I thought it was already about to fall apart. Thankfully, I at least persevered to one million words, which counted as giving myself an answer.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone here. Even at the end, there were still thirty or forty people willing to keep following this book. It was only because of your support that I was able to keep writing until now. Thank you, thank you—I am truly immensely grateful.
