Amidst the students' anticipation, a figure familiar to Allen walked in—it was Albert.
Dumbledore had arranged for many people to protect Harry Potter, such as Harry's neighbor Mrs. Figg; although she was a Squib, she was deeply trusted by Harry's aunt, Petunia.
Whenever there were matters to attend to at home, Aunt Petunia would often board Harry at Mrs. Figg's house.
It seemed that his big brother Albert belonged to the security detail dispatched by the Ministry of Magic to watch over Harry while at school, but for a pure-blood wizard to be teaching science—was he really up to the task?
"Hello, students. I am your new teacher, Albert Harris."
Big brother Albert—oh, no, Mr. Harris—wrote his name on the blackboard.
"Perhaps you think science has nothing to do with your daily lives, or that it is a particularly serious, boring, and dispensable subject. I am here to tell you: you are wrong!"
Albert waved his pointer with his left hand, while an empty glass appeared in his right. Before everyone's eyes, the glass filled with water out of thin air.
With a flick of his hand, another glass of water appeared to the right of his hand, as if it had been duplicated.
"Alright, now there are two glasses of water. Did you see that clearly?" The students were already dumbfounded, nodding their heads in succession.
"Now, I want to change one of these glasses. Which one would you like to see change?"
Albert winked mischievously, and the students shouted and pointed at the two glasses.
Albert performed a flourish with both hands, and the plain water on the right turned into a yellow liquid at a speed visible to the naked eye. Cheers erupted one after another.
"What is that?"
"Is it a drink?"
"No, I think it's oil!"
"With water and oil, is the teacher going to cook?"
The students chattered, guessing the new teacher's intentions.
"Shh... this is just the beginning." Albert shook his right hand, and a card appeared in his palm. The students below the podium widened their eyes, terrified of missing a single brilliant moment.
Then, Albert used a credit card to cover the water glass, inverted it over the oil, and slowly shifted the card to create a small gap. The miracle happened.
Tiny bubbles rose and fell; the oil below rose bit by bit, and the water sank bit by bit, until the water on top had completely turned into oil, and the oil below had turned into water.
"That's so cool!"
"Mr. Albert is so handsome!"
"How magical, I wonder how he did that!"
"I really want to learn."
Cheers and discussions rose and fell. Even students from the next class couldn't help but come out to take a look.
"Alright, please be quiet. Now, who can tell me what the principle behind this is?"
Mr. Albert pressed his hands downward; the students, completely won over by his magical methods, instantly quieted down.
The classroom was now as silent as it had been boisterous just a moment ago.
Everyone thought it was amazing, but at this moment, they all lowered their heads to avoid making eye contact with the teacher.
"Does no one know?" Mr. Albert seemed a little disappointed.
What kind of science is this? The initial trick was clearly a silent spell, though the latter part was somewhat interesting, Allen muttered to himself.
Since he was his own big brother, he would help him save face. Allen raised his hand. Albert immediately signaled for Allen to stand and answer.
"The water and oil must have been prepared by the teacher beforehand. The subsequent exchange of water and oil should be because water is denser than oil, so it sinks through the small gap. The oil is squeezed out and rises to the top glass."
As soon as he finished speaking, thunderous applause erupted in the classroom.
His deskmate Flag and Harry in front looked at Allen with admiration, clapping their hands frantically.
"Well said! I couldn't have put it more perfectly myself. What are you waiting for? Hurry up and take notes." Albert clapped his hands, and the room was filled with the rustling sound of pens sliding across paper.
After that, Albert explained the requirements for the science class and the tools needed for the semester, and then the class ended.
The students cheered and ran out of the classroom, some still showing off to the next class about how handsome the new science teacher was and how magical the experiments were.
"Harry, Allen, let's go out and play ball!" Flag invited them enthusiastically, unable to wait to share his new basketball with his friends.
"Look, what do I see! A bunch of losers have gathered together." Several big guys surrounded them and slapped the basketball out of Flag's hands.
They were like a bad penny—it was Dudley and his gang again.
"Dudley, I'm not afraid of you!" Flag, seeing his beloved basketball slapped away, shouted angrily at Dudley.
"Haha, Harry was my first punching bag, and now the second and third ones have delivered themselves to my door!" Dudley squeezed his malicious little eyes, punching his fists together in excitement.
This was the first time in his two lives that Allen had encountered school bullying. It had to be admitted that being surrounded by several big guys was indeed a little nerve-wracking.
As for magic, aside from using the spells inherent in his equipment, Allen had never cast any magic himself.
In this situation where the enemy was strong and they were weak, the only way out was—Allen, Harry, and Flag exchanged a look. "Run!" Flag roared.
Running away was a daily routine for Harry. The thin Flag darted left and right, slippery as an eel. Although Allen was physically strong and not as agile as the other two, he had a sharp mind and could always calculate the best escape route—and the direction of their flight was toward the teachers' office.
Dudley and his four cronies charged behind them, shouting excitedly, drawing countless complaints wherever they passed.
"If I'm not mistaken, are you boys fighting?"
"Big Brother's voice! I'm safe now." Allen panted as he ducked behind Albert.
Moken's laughter froze on his face before it could even fade. Dudley and his three companions shoved and bumped into one another, too terrified to flee yet too afraid to step forward.
"Professor Albert, as you can see, Dudley and his friends were using their size to bully me, Harry, and Flag. They wanted to turn us into their punching bags. We didn't want to get beaten up, so we had no choice but to run."
Allen clearly and concisely described the sequence of events.
His own younger brother and his charges being bullied right under his nose—this was absolutely intolerable!
Albert suppressed the rising anger in his heart and asked in a deep voice, "Is what Allen said true?"
Harry and Flag nodded frantically, as if that alone could prove the reliability of Allen's words.
Dudley and his three companions stammered, unable to offer any explanation.
Dudley kept his hands behind his back, refusing to let Albert discover his new boxing gloves.
"Dudley, what is on your hands?" How could Albert fail to notice Dudley's subtle movements?
"Nothing." Dudley hid them even tighter.
Albert pursed his lips. He flicked his teaching wand with his left hand behind his back, and Dudley was shoved as if by a powerful force. He stumbled a few steps, bracing himself against the wall to keep from falling.
"Who pushed me?" Dudley turned around and shouted. Moken and Piers behind him stared at him as if they had seen a ghost; in their eyes, Dudley had simply stumbled forward on his own, like a drunkard.
"So, boxing gloves. It seems you have your own hobbies, Dudley, which is fine. However, your skills are quite lacking; taking your frustration out on classmates just because you can't hit a punching bag isn't very good. Let me teach you."
Without waiting for Dudley's consent, Albert grabbed his pudgy hands, ripped off the boxing gloves, and barely managed to squeeze his own hands into them.
"Focus, and watch closely!" Albert didn't give Dudley any time to react, launching a rapid-fire series of punches.
Left hook, right hook, alternating strikes—every punch whistled through the air.
Dudley was frozen in terror. Albert was using him as a reference point; his left fist struck past Dudley's left ear, and his right fist whistled past his right ear. Dudley could barely see how Albert was throwing the punches; all he saw was a blur of shadows.
It felt like a long time had passed, but in reality, it was over in a flash. As Albert stopped, Dudley's legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground.
"Don't let me catch you bullying your classmates again. If you want to go tell your parents, go ahead."
Albert took off the gloves, shoved them into Dudley's arms, wiped his palms—disgusted by the sweat left inside the gloves—and turned to leave.
Amidst the jeers and laughter of their classmates, Dudley and his three companions slunk away, not even daring to utter a single threat.
"Wow, Professor Albert is so cool!" Flag exclaimed, unable to contain his admiration.
"If only I had Professor Albert's skills. If I did, the next time Dudley tried to use me as a punching bag, I'd beat him back," Harry said, his face full of envy.
Allen deeply agreed with their sentiments.
[Urgent Mission: Obtain the recognition of three teachers and the admiration of 50 students within one day to receive the Primary Body Refining Technique, which improves physical constitution and enhances muscle control, as a reward. Current progress: 2 teachers' recognition, 29 students' admiration. Please continue your efforts!]
There were only 30 students in the class including himself; how was he supposed to gather the other 21? Allen steeled himself. To ensure he would never be in such a helpless position again, this mission could only succeed; failure was not an option.
