Personality

Tony begins as a confident, pleasure-seeking weapons manufacturer, but captivity and the knowledge of what his weapons have done force him to reassess his life. Immediately after returning, he shuts down Stark Industries' weapons-manufacturing division despite the financial and political backlash. 145

Tony is kidnapped by terrorists and forced to build missiles, but secretly creates the Mark I armor to escape with Yinsen. Fei Shi and his companions arrive in the cave before the planned escape, rescue Tony, and introduce him to parallel worlds, supernatural powers, and his possible future as Iron Man. 143 144
