Ghosts weren't scary. Sometimes, people were scarier.

Of course, evil ghosts and vicious ghosts were another matter entirely.

Everyone was clearly having a great time, and the four ghosts before us carried no baleful or sinister aura.

They were probably just ordinary wandering ghosts.

They all looked fairly young, so perhaps they simply liked having fun.

Seeing us play a game, they merely wanted to join in.

The game was simple. Players with the Werewolf identity were the villains, and they won by killing the righteous players.

Alternatively, the righteous players could win by following the game rules, finding all the Werewolf players, and voting them out.

After everyone checked their identities,

I stared at everyone and shouted:

"Night falls, please close your eyes..."

Everyone promptly shut their eyes.

"Werewolves, identify your companions and choose a target to kill..."

I announced again.

The four Werewolves opened their eyes at the same time with a swish and pointed neatly at one person.
