History

Blade Intent first enters Su Yun’s cultivation through remnants left in objects. After the Extreme Shadow Fiend Blade reaches perfection, it becomes unable to progress further and urges Su Yun to find an item containing Blade Intent. Su Yun eventually purchases a damaged blade and a piece of Black Ironstone; both shatter after being fully comprehended, allowing him to gain Blade Momentum. 14 15

Su Yun’s early progress is closely tied to combat and slaughter. Victories over demonic cultivators repeatedly grant insights, while reaching the “Hundred-Man Slayer” feat advances his recorded Blade Intent to the Great Accomplishment threshold. At the Disciple Ceremony, Su Yun gains a trace of Blade Intent by observing duels, then achieves a full breakthrough during his battle with Jiang Qingfeng. Later growth relies on rarer catalysts: Blade Intent Fragments left by the Infinite Blade Guest, killing intent absorbed by the Blade Spirit, the Mysterious Broken Blade, and the killing intent of a slain Dao Palace Realm expert.
