The Illusion God is the deity of the Thousand Illusion Clan, a comparatively neutral divine clan that worships Phantom Spirit. Oaths sworn upon Phantom Spirit are binding even upon the clan's gods. Her clan possesses the Silver Star Realm's only spatial sacred artifact, the Crystal Palace, which has been preserved as a means of survival. 367 370

Seeking a path beyond godhood, she became interested in the Saint inheritance available to gods and Venerables of the Silver Star Alliance. Her particular objective was the spiritual Seventh Heaven secret art within the inheritance, which she believed could offer a chance to become a Saint. 366 367

After reviewing Lu Chong's battle and cultivation records, she chose him as a potential inheritor despite his status as an outsider. She offered protection, rewards, and an alliance in exchange for his attempt to retrieve the desired secret art. 367
