Summoning the Earth Dragon Balls and Shenron

Android 18 wore a strange expression, unable to fathom what Gohan meant by "number one in the universe."

Currently, Gohan had obtained three Dragon Balls, leaving four remaining.

The Dragon Balls were scattered across the globe, and in just this short half-hour, he had traversed half the planet!

There wasn't a single soul left on Earth, as Majin Buu had slaughtered all of humanity; he had flown for ages without catching sight of even half a person.

While collecting the sixth Dragon Ball, he ran into a lost Satan.

Upon seeing him, Satan cheered with joy, begging Gohan to take him along, and so Gohan flew through the air carrying Satan.

Satan's face was flushed with excitement, and he remained endlessly enthusiastic toward Gohan.

"Gohan, did you wipe out that guy Majin Buu? That Buu fellow didn't have a bad nature, did he really have to die?"

Gohan replied nonchalantly, "Kid Buu has vanished, but the Fat Buu that split off is still around."

"I'll take you to see him when the time comes!"

Satan was overjoyed and nodded repeatedly, clearly attached to Fat Buu and hoping he was still alive.

Since Satan could control Fat Buu anyway, Gohan didn't care in the slightest whether the creature lived or died, because the remaining Fat Buu's strength was no match for him at all; he could wipe him out with a single hand.

He carried Satan along to the seventh Dragon Ball, finally locating it in the depths of the ocean!

Android 18 and Satan accompanied him, watching as Gohan surged up from the seabed.

Holding the final Dragon Ball, he looked thrilled.

"Great, all seven Dragon Balls are collected! Haha, now I can summon Shenron!"

Running across the entire Earth was exhausting enough, but now that they were all gathered, he simply waved his hand and tossed the seven Dragon Balls onto a nearby clearing.

Satan watched this with curiosity, not understanding what Gohan was doing. He wanted to ask Android 18, but her icy demeanor made him afraid to get close.

He was still quite terrified of Android 18; after all, she was truly arrogant toward everyone else.

Now, only Gohan had a decent relationship with her, and as the Dragon Balls were gathered to summon Shenron, Android 18 stood to the side.

With her arms crossed, she kept watch for Gohan to prevent anyone else from interfering.

"Come forth, Shenron, and grant my wish!"

With a wave of his hand and a shout from Gohan, the summoning of Shenron was completed in an instant.

Rumble!

A bolt of lightning crashed down from the high sky, striking the Dragon Balls, which erupted in a brilliant, dazzling light.

A beam of five-colored radiance shot straight into the heavens!

Connecting the earth and sky, an Eastern dragon spiraled upward.

This left Satan, not far away, with his mouth agape, collapsing onto the ground in shock at the appearance of the dragon.

"Mon-monster! There's a monster here too!"

Android 18 glared at the guy, thoroughly annoyed that he was disturbing Gohan's important business.

"Shut up!"

Stung by the glare, Satan immediately covered his mouth, not daring to utter another word, looking utterly aggrieved.

He knew full well that he could be killed in a single blow by Android 18 and her ilk, so he didn't dare act out.

He could only stare ahead as Gohan, seeing Shenron appear, looked up with a joyful, excited expression at the radiant giant dragon!

Two wishes could be granted, and they could be anything at all.

If he could use both wishes for himself, that would be fantastic!

Of course, he understood what needed to be done right now, and as soon as Shenron appeared, he spoke up.

"Shenron, resurrect everyone killed by Majin Buu this time! Resurrect all the humans on Earth!"

Hearing Gohan's request, Shenron took a deep breath, and within a second, he fulfilled the first wish.

"Your wish has now been granted!"

In an instant, countless lights soared up across the Earth.

The souls of those humans all returned, and every person on Earth was resurrected!

The humans themselves probably had no idea what had just happened.

With the first wish fulfilled, Gohan began to hesitate; he wondered how he should use the second wish, or if he should test it.

Could he grant himself immortality?

However, he feared that the immortality granted by Earth's Shenron would be useless; if he were to encounter Beerus in the future, the immortality bestowed by Earth's Shenron might not hold up.

It really is impossible to contend with the power of a God of Destruction!

If I cannot obtain an immortal body, then how about obtaining wealth?

Limitless wealth?

Gohan glanced at Satan not far away and abandoned the thought; with a guy like Satan around, he could just "borrow" as much money as he wanted from him!

He was truly not short on cash.

In the end, he could only raise a hand and proceed as he had originally planned.

"Shenron, I want you to help me strengthen my Ultra Instinct; help me raise it to 100% activation capacity!"

Upon hearing Gohan's request, Shenron paused for a moment before shaking its head directly.

"Your Ultra Instinct is a technique of the true Heavenly Gods, above that of ordinary deities. I can only be considered an ordinary deity, so it is impossible for me to enhance your Ultra Instinct!"

It seemed that even Shenron could not do such a thing. Gohan sighed, then thought of something else.

He spoke again: "Then can you make me transform directly into a Super Saiyan God?"

Shenron continued to shake its head: "A Super Saiyan God requires the combined power of five Super Saiyans focused into one person to transform. This is a matter for you Super Saiyans yourselves."

Gohan certainly knew this; it appeared Shenron could not grant a direct transformation.

He would have to find five Super Saiyans to pool their power.

But right now, Pan had not even been born, and he felt that even if he knew the method, that guy Vegeta would absolutely refuse to cooperate with him!

Therefore, he would need one more person. Thinking of this, he glanced at Android 18 nearby.

He seemed to recall that Android 18 was a human modification, not a robot, and could also bear children!

With a playful smirk, Gohan looked toward the Shenron in front of him and spoke.

"Since that's the case, can you help me develop my Super Saiyan 3 transformation to 100%?"

"You can't even do that? You really are useless!"

Feeling his Super Saiyan 3 reach 100% and receiving another lottery chance, Gohan was finally satisfied. He waved a hand at the Shenron before him.

"Alright, this time you weren't too bad; you barely managed to fulfill my wish. I'll come find you again to upgrade me next time!"
