Koradma, God of Underground Caverns and Ruins, was the sole casualty of this "Wormwood" incident.
Aside from him, not even a single adventurer inside the Dragon and Dungeon adventure park had been injured or killed.
Naturally, this was thanks to the Playground's excellent emergency measures. Tourists adventuring in Dragon and Dungeon all carried specially made magical items. Should they suffer serious injuries, become excessively hungry or exhausted, or encounter danger, they would automatically be teleported out of the adventure park. And rather than returning normally—heading to the exit—they would be sent directly to the infirmary.
The infirmary was the sturdiest and safest of all the adventure park's auxiliary buildings. Forget the fact that the park had not collapsed this time—even if it really had, the people inside the infirmary would not have faced any danger.
This time, however, a few too many people had been teleported over all at once, clogging up the infirmary and leaving everyone rather uncomfortable.
Many people were somewhat dissatisfied, but once they learned what had actually happened, all their complaints vanished like smoke, turning into lingering fear and relief.
"I never imagined it! It was actually safer underground than on the surface!" said the more straightforward sort.
"What a pity! If I'd been on the surface, would I have gotten to see that terrifying crimson giant star?" said those brimming with curiosity.
"You still had to take shelter on the surface, and in the end you couldn't see anything anyway," said those who had already gone to inquire in detail.
"Even if we couldn't see anything, at least we could have felt a little of the tense atmosphere!" the curious babies said.
"Weren't you nervous in the infirmary?" the more mature people retorted.
Everyone burst out laughing, and that was the end of the matter.
