In the void outside the divine kingdom Shelter, a gigantic green jellyfish and a gigantic warrior in black armor were locked in battle. The jellyfish's tentacles gleamed with cold light, shifting into the shapes of blades, spears, swords, and halberds as they attacked chaotically from every direction. The black-armored warrior gripped a greatsword in both hands, using its armor to block the less dangerous attacks while seizing every opportunity to slash at its opponent again and again.
The coldly gleaming greatsword and the equally coldly gleaming tentacles collided without cease, each clash erupting with a deafening roar. Along with those roars, many black streaks appeared across Sui Xiong's body. On closer inspection, they were jet-black wounds, each one condensed with dense, evil divine power that made them difficult to heal. Meanwhile, rings of green patterns surfaced across the God of Fear's armor, like vines wrapping around it. A closer look revealed that these "vines" were alive, constantly boring into the armor in an attempt to attack the God of Fear's true body.
The battle had reached the point of bayonets drawing blood. Neither side even had the spare moment to dispel the other's divine power that had invaded their body. They could only forcibly suppress their injuries and free up as much strength as possible to keep fighting.
Inside the Pantheon, several powerful gods watched the battle with grave expressions.
"Who would have thought... that giant jellyfish I once led people in ganging up on has actually grown this powerful!" Lefeng sighed, deeply moved. "If I'd known it could become this strong, I'd have shamelessly clung to it until I dragged it into our pantheon!"
"It's not too late to recruit it now," Uther said expressionlessly. "Go now, and it'll be like sending coal in the snow."
"No way!" Lefeng
