Several days of this year were destined to be recorded in history.
First, the evil faction of the Pantheon suffered a devastating blow. Their largest organization, the Evil Gods Alliance, was almost completely wiped out. The alliance leader, the God of Fear—a powerful god—along with his Fear Pantheon, was utterly routed. In just a few minutes, roughly a hundred evil gods fell in one breath.
That was astonishing enough, nearly the worst loss the evil faction had suffered in the past tens of thousands of years. But it was not over yet.
Only one day later, the God of Fear, who had fled gravely wounded from that battle, was captured alive by his old rival, the Justice God. He was then to be publicly tried and subjected to fair yet severe punishment.
Compared to those two events, matters such as the good gods jointly traveling to Void City to offer congratulations, or the War Pantheon bowing its head in submission to a god who did not even possess an official divine portfolio... were merely supporting acts, though they would originally have been enough to shake heaven and earth.
And among all these events, there was one absolute protagonist who could not be avoided.
Void Mask Oscar, a jellyfish from the sea.
"Why did you suddenly decide to submit to Void Mask?" In the front rows of the Pantheon, Lefeng the Devouring Sky Dog leaned close to Wenna, the War God, and asked in a low voice, "What exactly is so worthy of following about that fellow?"
"First, strength. Then fairness. And finally... pioneering spirit." Wenna, the War God, had no intention of concealing anything and answered frankly. "What truly moved me was the last one."
Lefeng nodded slightly, understanding what he meant.
"Oscar... is indeed a very pioneering person. Many
