Chapter 530

"Today is a good day." After getting up that morning, North Wind looked at herself in the mirror while washing up and murmured, "It's time to get that matter taken care of!"

That matter was disposing of Wood.

By rights, this should have been done much earlier. After all, Wood had already betrayed them. He merely believed that North Wind had yet to learn of his betrayal, so he kept up a hypocritical pretense of loyalty to the Federation, playing the role of a good comrade.

Every day like this made her sick!

By her reckoning, she had been in Glimmerstone City for nearly a year; looking at the situation, her identity here had more or less been firmly established.

So it was time to deal with Wood.

She smiled and carefully applied her makeup, looking exactly as she usually did.

Wood had prepared breakfast. Even setting aside his talent and martial prowess, this man deserved praise simply for how well he looked after his wife. Every morning, he prepared breakfast in advance so North Wind would not have to rise early.

Lunch was the same. Only dinner was different.

Since he had to work at the woodcarving workshop in the afternoon, dinner was simply unavoidable.

Of course, for an ordinary family, they could make a little extra at lunch and heat it up for dinner. Wood had done the same when they were first married, but North Wind had said that she could not be like a parasite, stretching out her hands for clothes and opening her mouth for food. Out of the three daily meals, she had to prepare at least one herself.

So she was responsible for dinner.
