The war between the Church of the God of Knowledge and the Church of the God of Nobility lasted far longer than anyone had expected.
Before the battle, everyone had thought they would decide the outcome within a few hours. Even if it turned into a war of attrition, no matter how great the Legendary powerhouses' endurance was, fighting for a day and a night should have been about enough. Even if both sides were reluctant to suffer casualties and dragged things out slowly, surely three to five days should have produced a result.
But in truth, half a month later, they were still fighting.
It was somewhat absurd for a small-scale battle to last this long. It was not strange for those powerhouses with extraordinary endurance to fight one-on-one for such a length of time, but sustaining it for so long amid a chaotic melee was truly no easy feat.
