Background

Xiao Dong grew up on the same street as Lin Yi. His father died when he was young, leaving him to be raised by his mother. Three years before he entered Rainbow Martial Hall, Lin Yi found Xiao Dong drowning while searching the mountains and saved him; their families subsequently became acquainted. 25

When Xiao Dong arrives at the martial hall, he is short on tuition and has not yet undergone a bone-structure assessment. He brings pastries from his mother for Lin Yi and gratefully accepts the dried meat Lin Yi shares with him. 25
