"Lord Aizen, have you already met her? It seems you truly have forgotten many things, Lord Aizen."
The Hogyoku said, sounding aggrieved.
"Lord Aizen, that detestable creature is called Kyoka Suigetsu; she is a truly loathsome thing."
Hearing the Hogyoku's words, Sosuke could not help but be taken aback.
"Kyoka Suigetsu... that name feels very familiar."
"Why have you appeared inside my body, and who exactly are you?"
Sosuke asked, puzzled.
"The Hogyoku is the Hogyoku. The Hogyoku has already merged with you, so naturally, it is inside Lord Aizen's body."
The Hogyoku's answer provided Sosuke with no useful information whatsoever.
He stared sharply at the light emanating from his chest and asked.
"Then why do you call me Lord Aizen? My name is Sosuke, not this 'Lord Aizen' you speak of."
"You are Lord Aizen. It was you who awakened the Hogyoku, and ever since I woke up, I have been with you, Lord Aizen."
The Hogyoku challenged Sosuke's intelligence once again.
Sosuke rubbed his temples and said helplessly.
"Fine, then can you tell me what you intend to do inside my body? You should know that I possess nothing worth your desire."
"The Hogyoku intends to destroy the world with Lord Aizen and become the one and only god!"
"This is Lord Aizen's dream, after all... Oh no, the Hogyoku must go to sleep. Lord Aizen, do not forget to absorb the power of souls for the Hogyoku. Also, you must be careful of that creature, Kyoka Suigetsu!"
As soon as the Hogyoku finished speaking, its light suddenly vanished!
It was as if it had exhausted all its energy, plunging into darkness.
No matter how Sosuke called out to it, there was no response.
"Destroy the world... how could such a thing ever happen?"
Sosuke whispered to himself.
It seemed that this Hogyoku was a dangerous existence; if possible, he must never let it appear again!
And that Kyoka Suigetsu—what was it all about?
Why were they inside his body?
Thinking of these things, Sosuke drifted into a deep sleep.
In the midst of total darkness.
Sosuke looked at the mottled, massive palace surrounding him, as if he were standing in an ancient ruin.
Where was this?
Suddenly!
Lights flared up in several places around him.
On a high platform, a single throne sat all by itself.
This sudden development made Sosuke look toward it with tension!
He saw a young girl wearing a floral kimono reclining on that seat.
Unlike her previous expressionless state, she appeared incredibly alluring at this moment.
The girl's exquisite face paired with the vibrant floral kimono, and her slender, snow-white legs were revealed through the slit in the fabric.
She lay sideways on the cold seat, looking at Sosuke with charming, seductive eyes.
The girl parted her red lips slightly.
"Aizen, it has been a long time."
Seeing the girl's sexy posture, even the calm Sosuke felt himself blushing slightly.
Upon hearing her voice, Sosuke could not help but marvel at how melodious it was.
However, he remained calm and said to her.
"You must be Kyoka Suigetsu. May I ask what place this is?"
"Who are you and that Hogyoku creature
She walked toward him step by step.
She stopped right in front of him.
Looking at the girl's exquisite and beautiful face from such close proximity, Sosuke Aizen couldn't help but feel his heart race.
As if she had discovered something interesting, a hint of pleasant surprise appeared on the girl's otherwise icy face.
She slowly leaned her body toward Sosuke Aizen.
"What are you doing?"
Sosuke Aizen asked, his eyes slightly guarded.
Yet he did not dodge, for he seemed to believe from the bottom of his heart that she would not harm him.
Without answering Sosuke Aizen's question, she reached out a slender, fair hand and gently stroked his face.
"Why did you choose to believe in it back then? Clearly, I am your true power, Aizen."
"But this is fine, too. Now, you belong only to me."
Having said that, the girl gently cradled Sosuke Aizen's head and pressed her petite, red lips against his.
Stunned by the sudden kiss, Sosuke Aizen stared at the beautiful girl before him with wide eyes.
This kiss left him flustered, unsure of how to respond.
After a long moment, he finally pushed her away with a helpless sigh.
"Who exactly are you, and why are you doing this?"
Upon hearing his words, the girl in the kimono merely offered a charming smile.
"This feeling is wonderful. It is an experience I have never had before, Aizen."
Immediately after, the girl stepped forward again, her petite frame gently embracing Sosuke Aizen.
Darkness began to shroud the entire massive palace, yet Sosuke Aizen did not feel the cold, silent gloom; instead, the girl's embrace seemed to offer him infinite warmth.
"I am your power, the power from the deepest part of your heart, Sosuke Aizen. Do not trust anyone else. Only I—only I will stay with you forever. No matter what happens, I will be by your side to protect you."
The murmuring voice echoed slowly in Sosuke Aizen's ears, and he felt increasingly drowsy.
Just before falling asleep.
He seemed to hear a few words.
"...Kyoka Suigetsu."
Following that, he sank into darkness.
The girl wearing a floral kimono walked alone through this mottled, desolate, silent, and cold, massive palace.
It seemed as though she were the only splash of vibrant color in this bleak landscape.
She gently stroked the stone throne atop the high platform.
A look of nostalgia appeared in the girl's eyes.
"Aizen, will you regret choosing it back then instead of believing in me?"
"Perhaps not. How could you ever regret your own choices? But it does not matter. This time, I will not let you believe in anyone else again..."
"I will strive to protect you. The throne under the dome that you desire—I will clear away everything so that you may walk up to it securely."
With that, she brushed her slender, snow-white hand across the air.
The entire palace seemed to come alive, revealing vitality in every corner; the mottled, desolate atmosphere suddenly transformed into a scene brimming with life.
She stood quietly beside the seat, as if waiting for someone...
The alarm clock by the bed rang.
Sosuke Aizen woke up, clutching his groggy head.
As he sat up, a foreign object slid off him, causing his eyes to widen in shock!
A katana was resting right beside his right hand.
The hilt was emerald green, and the entire blade was smooth and bright, seemingly showcasing its sharpness!
"What is this!? How did it get here?"
Sosuke Aizen gripped the katana with his hand.
The feeling of a heart-to-heart connection left him deeply shaken!
This sword!
It had a life of its own!
The sky, is actually colorless.
It did not deceive you.
You merely allowed your own eyes to deceive you.
