And upon a thick cross at the very center, Ulquiorra's pale body was firmly bound.
His emerald eyes calmly assessed his current state. There was not a trace of panic in them; instead, a faintly human expression surfaced as he murmured.
"The power of rules... It seems I cannot break free from these restraints..."
As he spoke, Itachi stood silently before him.
The gravity had faded somewhat from Itachi's face. He simply looked at Ulquiorra with calm eyes and said in a slightly cold voice.
"Do not even think of breaking free from those restraints... This is the Tsukuyomi Space..."
"And I... am the one who sets the rules here..."
Hearing this, Ulquiorra slowly turned his indifferent gaze to Itachi's face, while Itachi met his stare without the slightest fear.
After a moment, Ulquiorra said calmly.
"If it is truly as you say, then with such an ability, you barely qualify to serve my lord..."
Itachi's brows furrowed slightly at those words, his voice sinking.
"Who exactly is this lord you speak of?"
Ulquiorra showed no awareness of being a captive and answered indifferently.
"Once you have the qualifications, you will naturally learn."
Seeing Ulquiorra's manner, Itachi's eyes darkened slightly. In a hoarse, low voice, he said.
"Perhaps you did not understand what I meant before. Fine, let me explain. Time here differs from the outside world."
"Here, twenty-four hours pass in the span of a single second outside. During that time, I can destroy your mind however I please."
As he spoke, Itachi slowly stepped forward.
With a slight lift of his hand, a pitch-black short blade appeared out of thin air in his palm.
He slowly drove the blade
