The True Kal-El (Part 1)

The unidentified object Dante had marked was located more than three hundred meters beneath the lake west of Reeve Dam.

Dilos looked around. Although the area was sparsely populated, there were still staff stationed inside Reeve Dam to monitor its operations.

That meant Dilos could not simply use excessively violent means to extract the object. The disturbance would be far too great and easily attract attention.

"In that case, I can only use telekinesis."

With that thought, the true essence within Dilos's body gathered in his brain, strengthening it to the utmost degree.

In an instant, the vast mental power within Dilos's mind surged forth like a tsunami, flowing endlessly into the lake. Before long, it reached the lakebed more than ten meters below, easily pierced through it, and rapidly drilled downward.

Thanks to the penetrative nature of his mental power, Dilos located the spot Dante had scanned almost instantly.

As Dilos had expected, while his mental power covered a wide area, it could not probe everything. Take this unidentified object, for example—he scanned it several times with his mental power, yet detected nothing.

"Looks like it really is something special."

With a shift of his thoughts, Dilos slightly altered the frequency of that immense mental power, transforming it into nearly tangible telekinesis.

He spread his palm, and the telekinesis scattered outward, forming a massive net ten meters in diameter. It wrapped up both the unidentified object and the surrounding soil, then suddenly tightened and pulled upward.

As he pulled it up, Dilos noticed that the red icon on his glasses was moving upward as well. Delighted, he confirmed that the telekinetic coverage was correct and continued manipulating the object from afar, moving it upward.

After all, he was moving something from more than three hundred meters underground. Even with
