As everyone knew, not just anywhere in America allowed planes to land. Especially at an important place like the US Capitol—even when an important meeting was being held, planes would only land at an airfield some distance away from the destination.
So when a plane appeared at the scene, the already chaotic atmosphere immediately escalated to the extreme.
The onlookers cheered with shrieks as though they had discovered something incredibly exciting. This was the US Capitol, after all. To brazenly fly a plane here to show off—just how little did they care about the so-called rules?
Thus, the brain-dead spectators who found it thrilling looked even more brain-dead.
And it was not just them. Even the so-called reporters began acting brain-dead.
"My God! Someone actually flew a plane to the scene! What is going on? Who could it be?! Some congressman? Or some American government official?!"
The reporters in their press attire rapidly reported into their cameras. In their eyes, this was a headline. This was money.
Only a very small number of people uneasily stepped back. They had clearly thought of something and were worried that the plane had been flown here by some terrorist to attack the scene.
The police maintaining order also looked grim, instinctively drawing their pistols and holding them at the ready.
There were surveillance systems all around them, specifically to stop idiots looking to show off from landing planes here. Yet this plane had appeared as if out of nowhere—no warning from the instruments, no sign whatsoever. It had simply appeared so abruptly.
They would have been brain-dead not to worry under such circumstances.
