Stand Up! Mutants! (Part 2)

How could Dilos, who understood what Senator Stern was thinking, possibly let mutants bear even more responsibility they did not need to bear?

What fairness would there be in that?

Since that was the case, some matters needed to be brought out into the open.

"I think everyone needs to look at some more evidence regarding this matter."

Dilos suddenly spoke up. "I believe that after seeing this evidence, everyone will realize that while mutants may appear to be always acting recklessly on the surface, far more mutants are actually victims."

The moment he said this, everyone grew tense. When Dilos had said he would provide evidence earlier, he had ended up causing a massive explosion terrifying enough to scare people to death. Who knew what he planned to do this time?

The higher-ups of the United States, including the senators, sensed more than just that. After all, some among them had participated in the capture and experimentation of mutants. Many of them might not have been directly involved, but they had still taken part indirectly, such as by funding experiments.

That was why some people began to feel guilty upon hearing this.

Unfortunately, the very thing that made them feel guilty happened next. Fortunately, they were not the protagonists of this story.

At some point, Dilos had taken out a palm-sized electronic device and began tapping rapidly on it. More than ten seconds later, he pressed it toward a widescreen television beside the senators' platform. The widescreen TV, which had been turned off all along, switched on. Dilos had hacked into it and, under his control, it began playing footage like a movie.

"Oh my God!"
