Moon, aboard the Nemesis.
Megatron stood on the command platform with his hands behind his back, watching the videos appearing one after another on the enormous holographic screen before him.
There were at least two hundred of these videos, and they were a chaotic assortment, yet their content was strikingly similar. They all showed soldiers in uniform standing guard with weapons in places resembling bases, training, or fighting on battlefields.
Moreover, the soldiers in these videos came from different races, and many of their uniforms even bore different national insignias.
Clearly, these were live feeds from military bases and battlefields across various nations. For such footage to appear here could only mean one thing... virtually every military base and battlefield around the globe was already under complete Decepticon surveillance, and the humans themselves had no idea.
"Other than nuclear weapons, humanity's armed forces are nothing to fear. But..."
Megatron's somewhat savage metal face furrowed slightly, and the string of videos transformed into an image of a blond, blue-eyed man in black combat gear: Dilos Sullivan.
"People like him are still a problem. With people like that around, I can hardly make any major moves."
Ever since learning that Dilos Sullivan possessed the ability to create spatial passages, Megatron had ordered his subordinates to reverse the GroundBridge spatial-jump technology and lock down the space around the ship, preventing that troublesome carbon-based lifeform from slipping aboard and slaughtering everyone should an accident occur.
But that alone was not enough. Megatron's goal was to rule Earth. Simply avoiding conflict without striking back would never let him conquer it.
Megatron sank into deep thought. How can I increase our army's combat capability?
As mechanical lifeforms, Cybertronians possessed many advantages over carbon-based lifeforms. Parts of their bodies could be replaced at will, weapons could be
