Kryptonians' mental defenses were ultimately nowhere near as formidable as those of the Cybertronians. Once aboard the Pioneer, he could not resist at all, and all the knowledge in his mind was copied by the Pioneer.

However, unlike the Cybertronians, he could not sort and organize certain information himself, so the knowledge appeared extremely disordered. Dilos first hypnotized Dirk-Sel, making him "voluntarily" assist Dante in organizing the contents of that knowledge. It took several days from start to finish to sort it all out.

Since Dirk-Sel himself was not a bad person and truly only wanted to live a quiet, stable life, Dilos let him go home every day. Only after his entire body of knowledge had been completely organized did Dilos finally let him go for good.

Of course, Dilos had not neglected to put safeguards in place. On the day Dirk-Sel was released for good, Dilos erased all of Dirk-Sel's memories concerning him from the past few days. Not only that, Dilos also erased all of Dirk-Sel's advanced scientific knowledge related to Krypton, lest the fool be unlucky enough to get captured by some criminal organization and have the knowledge in his head extracted from him.

For nearly a week afterward, Dilos rapidly sorted through the advanced Kryptonian technological knowledge in his mind and mastered it completely.

It had to be said that the advanced knowledge Dirk-Sel possessed was simply too profound. Even with Dilos's vast existing foundation of knowledge, he had to constantly use true essence energy to strengthen his brain and think without pause to fully absorb it.
