Facing a Kryptonian, Dilos still had some shortcomings when it came to physical hardware. For example, unlike his opponent, he could not draw on the sun to recharge anytime and anywhere, nor could he truly fly freely. If his opponent failed to defeat him and simply fled into space, Dilos's combat ability would be crippled by eighty percent.

Dilos's flight ability was ultimately nothing more than moving through the sky using telekinesis or air resistance. There was no air in space, so he could only wrap himself in telekinetic force to move through it. That put him at a disadvantage against Kryptonians or other aliens with spaceships.

There was also the fact that Dilos was highly susceptible to interference from the air while moving. On the surface, his ability to use the air greatly increased both his combat power and combat range, but in reality, it also limited him.

The faster he moved, the greater the resistance he faced. Even Dilos as he was now could not avoid this problem. If he wanted to move faster, he had to expend exponentially more energy. To Dilos, that cost was simply not worth it.

Even so, Dilos had no good solution to the problem. Wearing the speed suit could indeed solve the issue of air resistance, but once he wore it, he would find it difficult to use air resistance to move through the sky. It gave Dilos a terrible headache, and he had no idea how to resolve it.
