Ever since Dr. Connors developed a serum capable of further enhancing Dilos, the latter had remained in the underground base on Isla Sorna for the following several days, conducting simulated tests of the new serum alongside Dr. Connors.

The serum used on gorillas naturally could not be compared to one meant for Dilos. Not only were Dilos's genes far more complex, but gorilla cells were simply far weaker than his.

They needed foolproof simulated testing before they could safely enhance Dilos with it.

As it turned out, they had been right to proceed this way. A few days later, they discovered that this supposedly side-effect-free new serum also had some rather significant issues.

The enhancement process was too violent, making it easy for recipients to lose control of their strength after the experiment. According to the simulation data, the violent enhancement process would also cause excessive muscle growth, making the muscles abnormally bulky and thus affecting agility and explosive power. It could even severely hinder the cells' absorption and conversion of energy, as well as the efficiency of energy reinforcement.

However, its advantages were equally apparent. Several of the special genes added to this serum were extremely powerful and unique. Once Dilos was successfully enhanced, aside from his further improved physical qualities and fundamental abilities, his life essence would undergo another evolution, and he would gain a near-comprehensive range of superpowers. That way, Dilos would be able to adapt to nearly every type of battle, and it would become very difficult for him to encounter opponents who could counter him.
