They mainly discussed the proper use of soul power, along with some background information on the mages of Kamar-Taj and K'un-Lun, as well as why Ancient One had been so flustered back then.

After taking a small sip of the clear tea in his cup, Dilos sighed helplessly. "No wonder you were scared."

Just as depicted in the movies from his previous life, the mages of Kamar-Taj existed to defend the universe against invasions from other dimensions. The energy they used for their spells also came from the energy within cosmic space, just as the movies had said.

However, unlike in the movies, after drawing energy from cosmic space, they had to pass it through their own filtering methods before they could use spells normally. Otherwise, the energy would only injure their bodies.
