The Strongest Cheater is Born (4th Update)

As rumbling thunder echoed from within his body, Dilos strangely discovered that his body did not feel the same comfort it had the first time he had used true essence force to temper it. Or rather, aside from the faster rate of energy absorption, none of his basic attributes, such as the power of his blood and vitality, received even the slightest permanent improvement.

But Dilos did not give up. While absorbing energy, he began vibrating the bones and muscles throughout his body, activating the Tiger-Leopard Thunder Sound.

Yet after several attempts, other than the rate at which he absorbed and converted energy becoming even faster, there was no change at all.

"Could it be that this method doesn't work?"

Dilos thought to himself, still unwilling to accept it. He had paid far too much to obtain this powerful body with its terrifying potential. He simply could not believe that, after gaining such bug-like energy absorption capabilities, he still could not rapidly improve his physical qualities.

"Something must be wrong."

Dilos firmly believed it.

So, he started with the acupoints within his body and the channels connecting them, directing the various biological energies he absorbed into them to see whether he could use that energy to temper his body while running the Tiger-Leopard Thunder Sound.

But the instant Dilos guided that energy inside, the biological energy in his body immediately fell into chaos.

Not only did it collide within the acupoints, but it also forced large amounts of biological energy out of them and pushed it back into his cells.

To control the energy, Dilos even used his soul power to strengthen his control. But aside from forcibly cramming the energy together, it had no effect whatsoever.
