"Dilos, you shouldn't have threatened those reporters into working for you. If something can be solved with money, it's best not to use violence."

Inside Luthor Castle, Lex, dressed in a suit, glanced at the several media moguls trembling as they left through the portals by the door. Then he looked over at Dilos, who was leisurely drinking brandy beer on the sofa, and said helplessly, "Aren't you worried they'll come after you once you fall from power?"

"Even if I hadn't done that, they'd still come after me."

Dilos snorted, his eyes full of disdain. "What happened before was proof enough. They thought I'd care about my public image like those celebrities, or that I'd be some harmless nice guy like certain heroes. They thought they could casually steer the narrative and smear Mutants or the Superpowered Guard Team over any random bullshit. The fact that I didn't wipe out their entire families was already merciful enough."

As he spoke, Dilos brushed the dust from his shoulder and said coldly, "The more you ignore people like that, the more arrogant and disgusting they become. And modern laws protect people like them, both openly and behind the scenes. Before, I didn't have the time to deal with them. Now that I do, they have to pay the price. The only way to deal with people like that is direct violence. Now, they either work for me or die. There is no other choice."

Without exception, Dilos had implanted a portion of soul power into the minds of those media moguls. If they went against his wishes, that soul power would blow up their brains.

Seeing that Dilos was in a foul mood, Lex wisely chose not to add fuel to the fire. He merely rolled his eyes and said helplessly,
