Megatron Returns

While Dilos was discussing matters concerning the Guardians Alliance with Tony, the President of the United States was discussing something with someone else at the White House.

"Mr. Milton, was this Mr. Sullivan's intention?"

President Dean looked at the man before him. Even his formal suit could not conceal the aura of a burly tough guy, and Dean's expression was somewhat awkward. "Wouldn't this be a little inappropriate?"

The Mr. Milton before him was Jack Milton, who had long served as captain of the guards at Isla Sorna's underground base. Dressed in an expensive suit, he placed a stack of documents on Dean's desk.

Those documents contained the military's dirty history, as well as evidence of the framing of Jack and his subordinates.

"There's nothing inappropriate about it. They committed crimes, so they should be punished. Likewise, those who were wronged deserve substantial compensation. That is what justice means."

At that point, Jack continued before Dean could speak.

"Of course, Mr. President, you can choose not to resolve this matter. But if the law cannot protect our rights, then I suppose there's no need for us to obey the law either, right?"

Perhaps because he had spent so much time around Dilos, Jack had shed his former crude manner of speaking. His words came one after another, leaving Dean unable to respond.

What could Dean even say? This was already an outright threat.

Moreover, Jack was one of Dilos's men. Dean knew full well how terrifying Dilos was, so he could not simply dismiss Jack as an ordinary person.

In the end, Dean could only order the matter to be handled. As for the military officers and government officials who had framed Jack and his men... Dean could only say that they had brought this upon themselves.
