Early Life and Hatred of the Qian Family

Bibi Dong recalls living in an orphanage before arriving at Spirit Hall, where even the food given to pigs seemed better than what she had previously eaten 13.

She regards the Qian family as the reason she cannot marry her former lover, Yu Xiaogang. Her hatred also stems from an experience involving Qian Xunji in a secret chamber, which she remembers as the most humiliating moment of her life. She kills Qian Xunji shortly before Qian Renxue’s martial-soul awakening, but his death does not erase her resentment toward his family 1 2 42.

Qian Renxue’s Awakening and the Undercover Scheme

As the newly appointed Pope, Bibi Dong receives reports from Yue Guan and Gui Mei about Qian Renxue’s awakening. She initially hopes her daughter has inherited her martial soul, but instead learns that Qian Renxue possesses a sentient angel martial soul and innate level-20 soul power. These discoveries intensify her jealousy, particularly because they contradict Yu Xiaogang’s theories 2.

Bibi Dong orders Qian Renxue to assassinate Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and impersonate him. Her intended sequence is to have Qian Renxue slowly poison Emperor Xue Ye and inherit the Heaven Dou throne. Chen Qi blocks the proposal, arguing that undercover work would waste Qian Renxue’s talent 3 4 6.

She then attempts to force the same outcome through Xue Qinghe’s birthday banquet: arrange his murder and leave Qian Renxue facing either impersonation or imprisonment as a suspect. Chen Qi again intervenes, threatening to involve the Great Consecrator 6.

Failed Bid to Control the Consecrated Hall

News that Qian Renxue has obtained two thousand-year soul rings drives Bibi Dong to confront the Consecrated Hall. She demands that its members remain inside and stop interfering in outside affairs, then threatens to sever the Angel God inheritance 9 10.

Qian Daoliu and Golden Crocodile Douluo overpower and dismiss her. When she subsequently threatens Qian Renxue with her staff, Chen Qi warns that harming the Qian family’s heir could cost her the papacy. She retreats without striking 10.

Disciples and the Dispute over Chen Qi

After witnessing Qian Renxue’s hostility toward Hu Liena, Bibi Dong recruits Hu Liena and her brother Xie Yue as personal disciples. Although she presents this as cultivating future pillars of the Pope Palace, she deliberately showers Hu Liena with the maternal affection Qian Renxue has long wanted 13.

She later intervenes when Qian Renxue threatens Hu Liena over her pursuit of Chen Qi, suggesting that Qian Renxue simply give him to her disciple. The confrontation escalates into martial-soul pressure, but Qian Daoliu suppresses Bibi Dong and warns her to control Hu Liena or risk replacement as Pope 15.

Loss of Political Initiative and the Lakeside House

Chen Qi and the Consecrated Hall seize the Heaven Dou Empire and establish the Spirit Hall Empire without Bibi Dong directing the takeover. She is stunned that Qian Daoliu has accomplished it years ahead of schedule 40.

While Qian Renxue is away, Bibi Dong grants her lakeside house to Hu Liena. When challenged, she claims the building is Spirit Hall property and therefore hers to allocate as Pope. She refuses to reverse the decision despite knowing it is the last home Qian Xunji left his daughter 42.

Duel with Qian Renxue

After returning with three hundred-thousand-year soul rings, Qian Renxue challenges Bibi Dong: defeat would require Bibi Dong to step down, while victory would let her impose any punishment. Bibi Dong accepts, confident that a nine-year-old cannot overcome a Titled Douluo 50.

During the duel, she attempts to kill Qian Renxue with Spider Emperor Clone. Chen Qi destroys the clone and frees Qian Renxue from her spider silk, causing Bibi Dong to suffer backlash. Her subsequent release of Divine Slaughter’s Domain destroys the stage and cake prepared for Qian Daoliu’s birthday 50.

Qian Daoliu ends the battle with Angel Holy Light, knocking her out of her Martial Soul Avatar and leaving her bloodied. Hu Liena helps her leave after he threatens to kill her if she bullies Qian Renxue again. The passage does not establish that she relinquishes the papacy 50.

Her attachment to Yu Xiaogang shapes both her loyalties and her resentment. She defends his theories, imagines their hypothetical child surpassing Qian Renxue, and plans to eliminate the Consecrated Hall after attaining godhood so that she can bring him over to inherit the Spirit Empire 2 10.

She demands respect for her papal authority but overestimates what that office allows her to enforce. Her threats collapse when the Consecrated Hall demonstrates its superior strength.
