I Still Want a Unique Cultural Relic Restoration Method... Experts: You're Not Allowed to Touch the Relics!!!
For the next while, Shen Le spent his time in a cycle of browsing exhibits—repairing sacred artifacts—watching the appraisal of first-class cultural relics.
The werewolves were quite generous. Before Shen Le could even make a move, they had already packed up the Buddha head and respectfully delivered it into his hands, without asking for any collateral.
Returning the favor, Shen Le put even more care into restoring their sacred artifacts, selecting them one by one from the treasures they had provided:
"I'm not very confident about this one..."
"This one's a bit too weak..."
"Is this woven from wolf fur and wolf fangs? Can you find enough replacement materials?"
"If you can, I can give it a try..."
"This one too? Made of bone again? Does this rank highly among your sacred artifacts?"
The two experts followed closely behind Shen Le, feeling rather dizzy. The items the Holy See had sent for restoration had been fairly normal, at least—basically all within the scope of human understanding.
The items sent by the vampires for restoration, while somewhat twisted and dark—mummies, saintly skeletons, and the like—had not exceeded their knowledge either.
But what on earth were these things the werewolves had brought out?
This necklace appeared to have been made by stringing together all kinds of animal teeth and claws with some sort of animal tendons? The tendons were nearly worn through, while some of the teeth and claws had snapped or shattered?
What exactly was this black lump? The corpse of some animal's young? A dried egg? Or the innards of some animal?
And this shield—well, it should be a shield, right? There was a fist-sized hole punched through it, as though someone had smashed it open with a single punch...
Why did it look like a skull had been flattened
