Background / History
Tang Hao secretly monitored Tang San while the latter went to obtain his first spirit ring. Chu Men's abduction of Xiao Wu drew Tang Hao out, placing him directly against the masked kidnapper outside Nuoding City. His pressure alone suppressed Chu Men, and a casual punch severely injured the Spirit Ancestor despite only grazing him. Tang Hao prioritized recovering Xiao Wu over finishing Chu Men, allowing Chu Men to exploit Spirit Hall's arrival and escape. 1 2
Spirit Hall's Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo restrained Tang Hao with their Two-Level Stasis Domain. To break free, Tang Hao detonated two ten-thousand-year soul rings and used the Clear Sky Hammer's true form to tear apart the domain; he escaped heavily injured after damaging both pursuers. 2 3
After fleeing, Tang Hao went to the Soul Hunting Forest to find Tang San and Grandmaster. He revealed himself as Tang San's father, cured Grandmaster's Mandala Snake poison with his soul power, entrusted Tang San to Grandmaster's care, and left to draw Spirit Hall's pursuit away. 3
His retaliation escalated into a campaign against Spirit Hall, with reports crediting him with the destruction of seventeen branches across Fasino and Northland Provinces. The attacks disrupted Spirit Hall operations and intensified the continent-wide pursuit for him. 12 23 40
Appearance
Tang Hao is depicted as a disheveled, intimidating man whose outwardly neglected appearance contrasts with the pressure of a Titled Douluo. 1 2
- Often wears filthy, nearly tattered gray robes marked by mud and blood. 3
- Has murky, bloodshot eyes that retain a fierce, predatory intensity even when wounded. 3 119
- Bears fresh wounds and old bloodstains during the Sunset Forest battle, including a pierced left shoulder. 119
Abilities & Skills
Clear Sky Hammer
Tang Hao possesses the Clear Sky Hammer, described as the world's greatest tool-type martial soul. Its direct strikes generate overwhelming destructive force capable of breaking domains, scattering coordinated attacks, and smashing through defensive lines. 2 3 119
- Briefly tore through the Two-Level Stasis Domain with a hasty hammer strike. 2
- Forced a path through Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo's domain after detonating spirit rings. 3
- Sent Salas flying through three trees after striking his Martial Soul Avatar. 120
- His hammer swings and the surrounding Titled Douluo battle created shockwaves that shredded trees and scarred the forest. 119
God of Slaughter Domain
Tang Hao can deploy the blood-red God of Slaughter Domain. Spirit Hall's Two-Level Stasis Domain was able to halt its expansion during their initial confrontation. 2
- Projects a blood-colored domain from beneath his feet. 2
- Was restrained before it could expand beyond roughly three feet by the combined domain of Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo. 2
Great Sumeru Hammer and Ring Detonation
Tang Hao uses the Great Sumeru Hammer technique to detonate spirit rings and convert their power into explosive combat force. 3 119
- Detonated two ten-thousand-year soul rings to escape Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo. 3
- Detonated his fifth soul ring while surrounded, funneling the released power into his six soul bones. 119
- Used the resulting force to evade Golden Lion Douluo's interception, blast through Chrysanthemum Douluo's petal sea, and accelerate toward Salas. 119 120
- Ring detonation inflicts a severe cost: Tang Hao was heavily injured after his earlier breakout. 3
Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer
Tang Hao applies hidden force from the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer to alter the angle and purpose of each exchange rather than merely overpowering opponents. 119
- Redirected the force of repeated clashes with Golden Lion Douluo.
- Used seemingly defensive hammer strikes to create an attack route toward the command post led by Salas. 119
Soul Bone Set
Tang Hao possesses a complete set of six soul bones: skull, torso, and limb bones. Their combined power grants him exceptional endurance and destructive output. 119
- Allows sustained high-intensity combat against multiple Titled Douluo. 119
- Enhances the force released through ring detonation and the Clear Sky Hammer. 119
