Background / History

Phoenix King was originally a college student before an accident led to his transmigration and rebirth as a Heavenly Demon Phoenix in the Douluo Continent. Confused by his new existence but recognizing that he was now part of the beast race, he accepted cooperation with Gu Yuena's faction as the practical means of protecting both himself and Medicine Elder from the God Realm. 1

He wore Medicine Elder's ring from birth. The energy released when Phoenix King was born awakened the weakened soul entity, who initially taught him body-strengthening methods. After years of companionship, Medicine Elder accepted him as a disciple when Phoenix King reached three years old, judging him kind and loyal to those who treated him well. 1

Di Tian brought Phoenix King into the Star Dou Forest, where Gu Yuena took a particular interest in his Heavenly Demon Phoenix bloodline.
