Hu Liena was an orphan taken in as Bibi Dong’s disciple. Bibi Dong treated her like a daughter, giving her the maternal affection she withheld from Qian Renxue. Su Chen’s diary describes Hu Liena as diligent and firm-minded rather than spoiled by this privileged upbringing; at eighteen, she swore to devote herself to Spirit Hall 30 226.

Three months before the diary’s first documented rewards, Hu Liena met Su Chen outside the Star Dou Forest. He was then a level-fifteen Spirit Master. She helped him, brought him to Spirit City, and recommended him for a guard position at Spirit Academy 3.

The Future Revealed by the Diary
