Background / History
Bibi Dong lost her parents young but describes her childhood in Spirit Hall as happy. Her exceptional talent and twin martial souls earned her a place in the Pope Palace, where Qian Xunji accepted her as his disciple and groomed her as the Holy Maiden and future Pope. Qian Daoliu also helped raise and indulge her 16 202 360 391.
She fell in love with Yu Xiaogang and was willing to leave Spirit Hall with him. Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her, resulting in Qian Renxue’s birth; Bibi Dong later killed him. The trauma shaped her rejection of her daughter, while the Rakshasa God’s influence turned her attachment to Yu Xiaogang into an increasingly destructive obsession 16 17 291 759.
After Qian Xunji’s death, she succeeded him as Pope and oversaw Spirit Hall’s rapid expansion. Su Chen’s retrospective account identifies her as its youngest Pope, the second recorded twin-martial-soul user, the first to resolve their backlash, and one of Slaughter City’s Slaughter Gods 16 17.
Appearance
Bibi Dong is described as beautiful, noble, and elegant. Her imposing bearing as Pope contrasts with the softer demeanor she shows around her family 33 236 489.
- Papal scepter: A visible symbol of her authority, carried during her confrontation with Yu Xiaogang 236 238.
- Rakshasa God Armor: Purple divine armor worn after completing her inheritance 481.
- Phoenix robes: Worn beside Gu Yuena at the Spirit Hall Empire’s founding ceremony 684.
Personality
Bibi Dong combines ambition, patience, and administrative talent with ruthlessness. Even before her transformation, she works around the elders’ opposition rather than abandoning her objectives: when they refuse spirit bones for the Golden Generation, she makes the bones tournament prizes instead 1. Her subordinates regard her as powerful and frightening, while Su Chen credits her leadership with making Spirit Hall the continent’s foremost force 33 165.
The Diary Copy’s purification allows her to question her hatred of the Angel family and recognize how badly she has treated Qian Renxue. She does not become indiscriminately merciful: she rejects Ling Yuan’s proposal to execute uncooperative diary owners, but later gives Sea God Island’s defeated leaders the choice of serving Spirit Hall or dying 17 34 392.
Her later ambitions increasingly focus on public welfare rather than revenge. She wants to eliminate hereditary noble privilege, preserve Spirit Hall’s assistance to commoners, and ensure that founding an empire actually improves the continent 477 547. In private, she is affectionate, competitive, and teasing, though still sensitive about her position within Su Chen’s household 321 478 514.

- Can nearly match the Angel God, but loses their clash because the more experienced deity has stronger Divine Power 482.
Martial Soul Fusion Skill Cultivation
