Becoming Taichu's Disciple

Upon reaching his quarters, Ye Lin took out his token to open the barrier and stepped straight inside.

Once he entered the courtyard, Ye Lin discovered a person sitting at the table in the center. Looking closely, he saw that it was none other than Taichu.

"How was it? Did you obtain the item?"

Taichu held a teacup, sipping the tea within as he looked at Ye Lin with a smile.

Ye Lin retrieved the Night-Shining Pearl from his Spatial Ring and handed it to Taichu.

"I have obtained it. Please take a look, Senior."

Taichu took the Night-Shining Pearl from Ye Lin's hand and examined it closely. After a long moment, a look of joy appeared on his face.

"Yes, this is exactly the item. I truly did not misjudge you."

"Since that is the case, from this day forward, you shall be my, Taichu's, only personal disciple. Now, are you willing to take me as your master?"
