Ye Lin's Fury

Crack, crack, crack.

A few crisp snaps rang out, and several cracks appeared in the once-impregnable golden light.

As soon as those cracks appeared, the golden dragons, who had been fearless just moments ago, showed fear. Then their golden faces twisted into expressions of utter frenzy.

They were creatures created by the Heaven-Reaching Tower to test the talents of the younger generation. Though they had no intelligence, that didn't mean they weren't afraid of death.

In an instant, roars echoed throughout the entire trial space. The three golden dragons opened their mouths wide, and terrifying golden energy began gathering inside them.

The next moment, three heaven-shaking beams of light shot toward Ye Lin.

But Ye Lin wasn't afraid in the slightest. He placed his left hand against his chest, holding the World-Suppressing Pagoda in his palm.

The World-Suppressing Pagoda immediately blazed with golden light. In the blink of an eye, it had grown into a tower ten meters tall, enveloping Ye Lin within.
