Naya carried over a basin of soup from the side and set it on the stone table beside Ye Lin. Together, they watched the six children before them.
"Yesterday, the village hunting party went out to hunt. Three people died, and five were seriously injured."
Naya spoke with a face full of worry, but Ye Lin showed no reaction at all.
That was only normal. Those Demon Beasts weren't idiots—if you killed them, could you forbid them from killing you?
"How... much longer before you leave?"
Naya looked at Ye Lin before her, hesitating for a long while before finally asking.
"Me? Soon. Probably within the next few days."
Ye Lin looked up at the sky as he spoke. Over the past ten nights, he had been swallowing all sorts of medicinal pills. His cultivation had now reached Nascent Soul Peak, and he was about to step into the Spirit Transformation realm.
He would recover to the Spirit Transformation realm within the next few days. He wondered what the situation in the Five Prefectures of the Human Race had become after all this time.
Hearing Ye Lin's words, Naya's face fell. She admitted that she had gradually become unable to part with Ye Lin. Knowing that he would soon leave made her heart ache.
