Looking at the dilapidated village around her, at the corpses on the ground, then at Stone behind her, Naya finally shook her head softly.
She would not leave. She did not want to go with Ye Lin.
Everything she had was here. What she had felt for Ye Lin before had been a flutter in her heart, but it was not love.
Seeing Naya shake her head slightly, Ye Lin stood with his hands behind his back and looked up at the distant sky.
"Since you're unwilling, I won't force you."
After speaking, Ye Lin turned to look behind him.
"This may be the last time we ever see each other. Thank you for saving me. This is for you."
Ye Lin took a sky-blue necklace from his Spatial Ring and handed it to Naya. He had discovered that his Spatial Ring contained all sorts of strange and curious things.
This necklace could save its wearer's life. When the wearer encountered danger, it would activate automatically, forming a blue protective barrier around them.
Naya watched the necklace drift gently toward her and reached out to catch it.
"I'm leaving."
With that, Ye Lin tore open space without hesitation and stepped inside, vanishing completely. The next moment, the spatial rift began to close.
