The Land of Fire's Civil War (1)

After the Yotsuki Clan issued their orders.

They arrested their former opponents and slaughtered all of the Daimyo's direct descendants.

Publicly, however, they pinned it all on the Land of Lightning.

Throughout the entire operation, they claimed that the Land of Lightning was dissatisfied with its alliance with the Land of Fire and had therefore carried out a brutal reprisal against the Land of Fire's Daimyo and his descendants.

It was all an invasion by foreign enemies. It was all done by the villains from the Land of Lightning!

It had absolutely nothing to do with the Yotsuki Clan.

"The Daimyo has suffered an assassination attempt. We, the Yotsuki Clan's Black-Clad Guards, shall spare no effort in apprehending the culprit and protecting the royal palace!"

"From this day onward, the capital of the Land of Fire shall permit entry only, not exit. It will remain sealed for three consecutive days. All officials must prove they have no connection whatsoever to the assassins, or they will be thoroughly investigated!"

"Investigate everyone, one by one!" Before the royal palace, the Yotsuki Clan's Black-Clad Guards swiftly sealed off the entire capital of the Land of Fire like a raging storm. They pasted notices across the city walls, announcing to the public that the Land of Fire's Daimyo had been attacked. Acting under orders, the Yotsuki Clan had sealed the royal capital to protect the Daimyo and track down the assassins and those behind them.

Before long.

After the Yotsuki Clan members departed.

Whispers immediately spread through the crowd.
