The Amazing Woman

At the coliseum.

During a break, Lu Yu encountered an amazing woman in front of a massive statue. The statue depicted a muscular man holding a greatsword.

"You know this warrior too?" The young woman, dressed in pitifully little fabric, slowly approached. Her upper body was covered by two pieces of golden armor crossed over each other. Her lower body was protected by two front and back pieces of armor, split high at both sides up to her waist. She held a longsword in her right hand and a large shield in her left. On her feet were knee-high boots made of gold, and a blue cloak that reached her ankles draped over her back. It was truly a marvelous sight.

Before Lu Yu could speak, the young woman slowly began to talk.

"This is the gladiator Cyrus. He is a great man of our country, an admirable gladiator. He has an unbelievable record of three thousand undefeated matches. He is the person I admire most."

"Mm, may I ask who this beautiful lady is?" Lu Yu curiously sized up the woman before him. She looked no older than her teens or twenties. Why would someone like her take part in such dangerous gladiatorial matches?

"My name is Rebecca. May I ask your name?"

"I'm Lu Yu."

"Mm, you could say that. But it would be best if you didn't reveal my identity to anyone else."
