Background

Early life

Izumi is Hazuki Uchiha's daughter. Her father was a civilian, and neither parent possessed ninja talent, leaving her without systematic ninja instruction before entering the Academy. Although she awakened the Sharingan early, she initially did not know how to use it effectively. 18 20 33

During the Nine-Tails' attack, Itachi evacuated Izumi and Sasuke to the Tatsumi Shelter and saved her from a collapsing building. Izumi's father died during the attack; afterward, she and Hazuki moved into the Uchiha compound. 2 33
