Background

Kushina came to Konoha as an outsider from the Village Hidden in the Whirlpools. Lonely and insecure in an unfamiliar village, she wanted acceptance from her classmates and dreamed of becoming Konoha’s first female Hokage. Instead, students mocked her red hair, called her a “tomato,” and told her that an outsider could never be accepted. 1 3 4
