Background / History

Mikoto is a young Uchiha raised as the foster daughter of Uchiha Setsuna, the clan leader. Her position and upbringing give her the bearing of an Uchiha “young lady,” while she has already graduated from the Ninja Academy and become a Genin by the time she meets Uchiha Kurohane. 5

She aspires to become Konoha’s first female Hokage. When Kurohane tells her of his own ambition to unify the shinobi world, Mikoto treats his competing dream as a reason for rivalry rather than backing down. 6

She is competitive enough to regard Kurohane as an enemy over their incompatible Hokage ambitions, but her interest in him steadily develops into admiration.
