Background

Aotian initially challenged Uchiha Lihuo during the Ninja Academy qualification process and was defeated. Humiliated by the loss, he demanded that his parents take revenge, but his father, Uchiha Ting, rebuked him for provoking the duel and ordered him to apologize instead. 4

Rather than abandon his pride, Aotian turned the defeat into motivation. He began forcing both himself and his followers through daily training, sometimes training at twice their volume. He silently brought Lihuo a fruit basket after seeing the bruises from Lihuo’s own intense regimen, then entered the Academy visibly battered from his training. 5 6 20
