There won't be a summary this time.
I wasn't very satisfied with how Volume Three turned out.
The author himself had plenty of problems too.
All sorts of trivial matters in real life, one health issue after another (the hives took over half a month to clear up, then I immediately came down with a bad cold; once the cold was gone, it was tonsillitis and bronchitis—endlessly irritating), renovations, moving, and so on.
I simply couldn't settle down and write the story.
My mindset had also grown increasingly restless.
On top of that, the more I wrote Prisoner, the more it felt like the story was drifting away from the path I had originally envisioned, causing my passion and motivation to diminish day by day.
There wasn't any good solution.
Updating only once a day wasn't me slacking off; I just couldn't figure out how to write it better. I spent more time sitting there thinking than actually writing the chapters.
I still hadn't figured out how to develop Volume Four, so I'd take a day off to work on the outline.
I was somewhat disappointed in myself.
That was all.
