January 10, 1927.

Early in the morning, the movers sent by the government arrived punctually beneath Gilan's rented apartment building.

Six or seven burly men in matching uniforms efficiently cleared out Gilan's luggage and carried it down to the military pickup trucks parked below.

Before leaving, they even made sure to clean the rented apartment spotless, lest it tarnish Minister Gilan's reputation.

A twenty-five-man military squad accompanied them as well, standing guard around the area with firearms in hand, drawing the attention of nearby residents and passersby.

After asking around, they learned that Foreign Minister Gilan Iros had been living here, leaving them utterly astonished.

Ever since yesterday's nationwide broadcast declaring war, news about this young foreign minister had spread like wildfire.

Now that they discovered he had been living here all along, the residents of Price Street could not help but feel honored.

Judging by the situation, however, Foreign Minister Gilan was moving away... and the onlookers quietly lamented it.

"Reporting, sir. All of your luggage has been moved. This is the inventory list recorded by my subordinates. Please review and confirm it."

Gilan had only just stepped out of the building when a young man in a suit approached him, nervously handing over a sheet covered with the names of various items in black fountain-pen ink.

Gilan accepted it, glanced over it twice, and nodded.

"No problem. That's everything. Thank you for your hard work."

"You're too kind, sir. It's our duty."

Having received his approval, the young man beamed and quickly lowered his head in response.

He then stepped aside and gestured with a raised hand.

"Please get in the car. We will escort you all the way to 9 Morales Street in the Central Triumph District and ensure your new residence is properly arranged."

"Thank you."
