"King Augustus Klein died of illness. All 203 city-states across the nation mourned."

Gilan narrowed his eyes as he looked at the subtitles.

The story took place a thousand years ago...

This Doro Kingdom should be the predecessor of the western nations—the ancestor of the Fosaka Kingdom.

Recalling the world history he knew, Gilan quickly grasped the film's historical background.

The Ancient Doro Civilization was a branch of the Ancient Shiru Civilization.

Thus, in a sense, the Fosaka Kingdom had always been a "distant relative" of the Bremen Empire.

Ancient Shiru originated in the central lands of the continent. Together with Ancient Romei in the east—the ancestor of the Ovena Federation—it formed one of the two great civilizations. As time passed, the two sides fought and merged, split and reunited, giving rise to countless branch civilizations.

Ancient Doro was one of them.

With the central lands' resources and territory occupied by the Shiru people, they had been forced to migrate westward until they finally took root in the western deserts, where they multiplied and thrived.

Among them, the Doro Kingdom was an important symbol of that civilization.

This nation practiced a city-state system. Whether the royal family or the royal capital, all bore the name "Klein," which signified "Warrior's Glory."

And as Gilan knew, Dawn Era, Year 1000, was a crucial turning point.

The era of warring city-states came to an end. A king emerged, unifying the west and founding the Stuttgart Empire.

So there are still more than twenty years before the Doro Kingdom in this film is destroyed...
