Thesel turned his head and quietly reminded Gilan.
Gilan nodded and tightened his grip on the Laughing Noise Sword.
More and more monsters poured into the arena through the four enormous gates, their numbers already clearly surpassing those of the contestants.
The ground trembled and rumbled beneath the tide of trampling monsters, kicking up towering clouds of dust.
Visibility was obscured, while the cries of battle steadily rose.
"Kill!!" Whether they were warriors of the Kingdom or the rebels, after the first round of slaughter, they were all covered in blood, their faces flushed red.
Facing the monster horde, they showed no fear. Raising their weapons high, they charged forward.
On the towering walls surrounding the arena, spectators seated on tier after tier of stone benches shouted encouragement.

Seven or eight headless giant wolves charged in from every direction, surrounding Gilan and Thesel.
Gilan found these wolf-shaped monsters quite familiar.
They were the "Tribute Wolves" he had encountered in the film Moon-Scorched Village. But this pack of Tribute Wolves was far more threatening.
Their bodies were larger, and they were faster.
With a mere visual assessment, Gilan concluded that anyone at the Transcendent level would undoubtedly die if surrounded by these Tribute Wolves.
It seemed that Legend of the Undefeated was a high-difficulty film. Ordinary viewers who lacked sufficient strength had no chance of making it out unscathed...
Gilan thought to himself.
The next second, Thesel stepped forward and swung the small round shield in his hand, forcibly knocking away a Tribute Wolf larger than a lion.
Bang!!
Thesel moved with astonishing agility. His thick thighs tensed like bowstrings as he twisted and hurled his spear, shattering the waist of a Tribute Wolf leaping through the air with a single blow.
He thrust out several
