Gilan realized that his surroundings had changed. Time had quietly slipped away, carrying him to a morning ten years later.

His vision felt somewhat dim. He could smell the rich scent of medicinal herbs, along with an unusual woody fragrance—a blend reminiscent of sandalwood, oak, and cedar, mixed with hints of vetiver and patchouli.

Gilan looked around and found himself in the bedroom of a wooden cabin.

Before him stood a broad wooden desk by the window, covered with books, parchment, quills, scrolls, and various occult items such as pendulums and bone carvings.

A ray of sunlight slanted through the branches and fell across the windowsill, making every speck of dust floating in the air clearly visible.

However, judging by the flowers on the windowsill and the distinctly feminine decorations, this was Sasha's room.

Just then, he heard footsteps downstairs and turned to head back down.
