First, my apologies.
The webnovel writers' workshop has ended, and Maruko has returned home. I've been so busy lately that I simply haven't had the time or equipment to write, which has been incredibly painful.
At the same time, I'm exhausted.
Exhausted both physically and mentally.
Last night also happened to be the League of Legends World Championship—Bilibili Gaming versus T1. I stayed up late to watch it... and then they lost, which was really infuriating.
I'm absolutely fuming.
I've been out of it all day. Maybe I'm getting older, but staying up late gives me headaches, and sitting in front of the computer, I have no idea what to write.
It's already nearly nine o'clock, and I've only written a few hundred words. There's no way I can get an update out in time, so I can only take the day off.
I'll go to bed early tonight and get up early tomorrow to write.
(Also, this volume should be ending soon, probably within the next few days... Then the story will enter its final volume, which means this book is nearing its end. It should probably wrap up around late December or early January.)
Honestly, Maruko lost most of my drive a long time ago.
This story has drifted far from the original concept. On top of that, I messed up the writing myself—I failed to write what I had envisioned, and the results have steadily declined just as expected.
It's hard to put into words.
My goal now is simply to finish it smoothly.
