At last, Volume Five was finished.
Originally, this was supposed to be the most satisfying volume in the plan, as well as the crucial turning point connecting what came before and after (namely, Gilan fully becoming a powerhouse and stepping into the spotlight). But for various reasons, I still failed to capture that feeling.
Also, the reason I personally feel this book hasn't been written well is the lack of the epic scale and grandeur I had envisioned.
That was purely a matter of writing ability.
Perhaps this kind of grand narrative really isn't Carrot Ball's forte... In the future, I'll also think carefully before tackling similar subjects.
So the next book will most likely return to my comfort zone.
That lighthearted, comedic style like Villain is probably what Carrot Ball does best. Sigh.
With this volume over, Volume Six will begin, and it will also be this book's final volume.
It is expected to conclude around late December or early January.
As for the final volume's content, Carrot Ball will write as much as possible, but the pace may not pick up. I only hope to update steadily all the way to the end.
As usual, I'll take a day off to plan the next volume's outline.
