Assassinating a dragon was indeed a very foolish decision.

But assassinating a dragon after meticulous preparation was enough to make one's heart pound in terror.

Liszt then recounted all the information Chris had brought him, along with the deductions he had drawn himself.

After he finished, Levis still did not believe it. "This is too absurd. Assassinating Grand Duke Sapphire's dragon is absolutely not something a sane person could come up with. Dragons stand at the pinnacle of the world's power. Even a drake or a dragon beast cannot be hunted at will."

His words made a certain amount of sense.

Just as there was an immeasurable gap between a Sky Knight and a dragon knight, there was also an immeasurable gap between magic beasts and dragons.

Sky Knights and Archmages were very powerful. They could hunt intermediate magic beasts, and even high-level magic beasts.

But between high-level magic beasts and dragons lay three tiers: super magic beasts, high-level Dragon-Blood Magic Beasts, and super Dragon-Blood Magic Beasts. It was difficult to imagine anyone crossing so many ranks to kill a dragon that suppressed a nation's fate. Thus, Marquis Bull's dragon assassination plan sounded like a cold joke.
